Meta has quietly rolled out a major algorithm update—and if your Facebook and Instagram performance suddenly shifted, you’re not imagining it. This update changes how content is ranked, how ads are prioritized, and how user behavior influences visibility.
At Thimks, we broke down what changed and how you can adjust your campaigns to stay ahead.
What’s New in Meta’s Algorithm?
1. Quality > Quantity
Meta now gives higher visibility to content that holds attention, not just content that posts frequently.
Expect fewer impressions for low-engagement posts.
2. User Intent Signals Are Stronger
Meta is tracking:
- Time spent watching
- Saves
- Shares
- Replays
- Profile visits
These actions now boost content more than likes and comments.
3. Authentic Creators Are Being Prioritized
Posts that feel “human”, UGC, behind-the-scenes, founder-led content—are performing better than polished studio productions.
4. AI-Optimized Ad Delivery
Meta’s system now uses stronger AI modeling to predict which users are most likely to convert, not just click.
This means the learning phase is more sensitive and easier to break.
How to Optimize Your Meta Campaigns After the Update
1. Stop Posting Just to Post
Focus on value-based content. Educational, funny, relatable, or story-driven posts are now prioritized.
2. Shift Your Ads to “Creators + UGC” Style
Meta favors ads that look like organic content.
Use:
- Raw mobile shots
- Real customer testimonials
- Storytelling videos
These outperform studio-quality visuals under the new algorithm.
3. Prioritize 3 KPIs: Saves, Shares, Watch Time
These three directly influence ranking now.
Create content worth saving (tips), worth sharing (relatable), and worth watching fully (hooks + storytelling).
4. Strengthen Your Campaign Structure
To avoid the learning phase resetting:
- Keep major edits to a minimum
- Don’t change budgets by more than 20%
- Maintain consistent targeting for at least 5–7 days
- Use Advantage+ campaign structures where possible
Meta’s AI performs better when left stable.
5. Update Your Creatives Every 7–10 Days
Repetition kills performance in the new update.
A fresh creative cycle helps maintain lower CPMs and higher ROAS.
6. Let Your Best-Performing Ad Run Longer
Meta’s AI prefers historical performance.
If an ad is winning, let it run. Don’t switch too early.
7. Use Broad Targeting
Meta is pushing advertisers away from detailed targeting and toward:
- Broad
- Advantage+
- Lookalike-based learning
The algorithm now performs much better when it has fewer restrictions.
Bonus Tip: Build Your Brand, Not Just Campaigns
The update heavily rewards brands that:
- Post consistently
- Engage authentically
- Use storytelling
- Showcase real people
Your brand identity matters more than ever for organic and paid reach.
Final Thoughts
Meta’s latest algorithm update is designed to reward authentic content, meaningful engagement, and stable ad structures. Brands that adapt quickly will see better visibility, lower costs, and stronger results.

Downloading the app was so simple and the performance is outstanding even on older devices. I love that I can play my favorite table games anywhere without any drop in quality. The push notifications for new tournaments are also really convenient and never spam my phone. 88fdgamedownload
